The collection features over 7,000 Lionel™ engines, cars, and accessories, including pre-war, post-war and modern trains. See the famous 1934 Blue Comet passenger set and the last locomotive manufactured in the USA by Lionel™ in May 2001.

Watch diesel and steam locomotives pull their tenders on a huge 24' x 45' layout that includes a freight yard holding over 400 cars, an operating roundtable with roundhouse, cascading waterfall, buildings, and many animated operations.

The exhibit and activity center are located next to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad depot in Bryson City.
